Coup, the new norm?

Something scary has happened in our neighbourhood. And the so-called conscious keepers of this nation, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra, the entire opposition, the cabal media, the liberal YouTubers and the Bollywood gang, which wept tirelessly and cried horse for Hamas terrorists and Rafah suddenly have lost their tongue.

Just like we have seen in movies, a democratically elected government of Bangladesh has been taken over by rogues, and the democratically elected Prime Minister had to flee her own country. The mob barged into her residence and looted it. The statue of Bangladesh's founder has been bulldozed and razed to the ground. Hindu temples are being set on fire. People are being set ablaze. Hundreds have been killed. Yet, not a word from global peacekeepers whose hearts bled for Rafah.

The dichotomy is that despite 57 Muslim countries, the Muslim PM of Bangladesh had to seek refuge and help from India. This unfortunate situation will have the following effect.

  1. The geopolitical balance of this part of the world will change

  2. China and the US will seek active intervention to seize control of Bangladesh and its neighbours by planting a proxy PM

  3. A massive influx of refugees will be a big problem for India

  4. Pakistan will exploit this occurrence to push its terror agenda in India

  5. The refugee crisis and the Indian government’s stand will be exploited by our opposition to drive a wedge between Hindus and Muslims further.

  6. Terror activity along the eastern border, along with infiltration, will be on the rise.

But this is also a significant opportunity for India as a nation.

Not only can we emerge as champions of democracy and Hindu rights, but we can also emerge as a robust democracy in the region. After the collapse of Srilanka, Pakistan and now Bangladesh, we are the undisputed champions of democracy.

What scares me the most is how the template of regime overthrow unfolded in Bangladesh. Reservation issues were validated by the top judiciary, yet unrest brewed, and finally, the mob took over the streets and then the nation. With CAA protests and farmers’ agitation in India, was the opposition trying to do the same? When the so-called Farmers stormed Red Fort, were the handlers waiting for the cops to open fire, killing a few of them and then taking the narrative to overthrow the Modi government? Is the opposition playing a dangerous game that is well beyond their control?

Could you give it some thought?
